Your tasks:

  • Business process owner for supply chain relevant demand management and key stakeholder in S&OP process
  • you work closely with Customer, Sales and Customer Service to collect all available demand insights
  • Consolidation of all demands (products, customers etc.)
  • Review demand (e.g. against strategic plan) and gather assumptions and reasons for major changes in preparation of demand review meetings
  • Organize and run demand review meetings
  • Work closely with Supply Chain Management to create feasible scenarios of balanced demand and supply
  • Manage constrained demand and communicate ad hoc forecast changes
  • Release demand plan for replenishment and production planning
  • Key player within demand and supply alignment process (S&OP process)
  • Analyze and manage supply chain demand quality KPIs (OTIF, forecast accuracy etc.)
  • Standardized input (KPIs + consolidated demands) and standardized output (agreed plan and actions)
  • Initiate and drive continuous improvement process for demand consolidation and supply chain demand quality


Your profile:


  • B.S. or Master degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or Engineering
  • 5-7 years previous experience in demand management, forecasting or supply chain management. Preferably within Pharma or Consumer Health, but not a must
  • Experience with SAP based planning tools or alternative demand planning software.
  • Experience in and/or exposure to S&OP processes and procedures, customer planning and/or supply planning.
  • Experience with aspects of the supply chain, including planning, manufacturing operations, transportation, warehousing and inventory management is ideal.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Highly collaborative leadership style and excellent facilitations skills.
  • Ability to lead effectively and handle conflict in cross-functional integration role.
  • Strong influence management skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-operating group/cross-functional resources
  • Ability to interact with various levels of the organization (corporate/plant). Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
